GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Operates industrial blenders in accordance with established production schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment. Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules. Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards. Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements. Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications. Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas. Discharges blenders of powder when necessary. Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards. Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs. Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing. Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents. Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance. Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures. Meets and/or exceed production goals and guidelines for daily/weekly production runs. Observes plant safety rules and regulations at all times, reports all safety hazards in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: No prior experience or training.

Ability to understand and perform complex Manufacture Plant repair procedures while following oral and written instruction specific to the equipment being repaired.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, catwalks, or high lifts Develops a full understanding of chemical hazards specific to area assigned to, including knowledge of required PPE for each job.

Help to maintain records on equipment to build history to track equipment service and replacement requirements. Assist in training less skilled mechanics. Adhere to all company quality, safety, security, health and environmental requirements and policies. Work with and/or supervise projects using an outside contractor. Perform all work according to Tremco quality and safety procedures. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Ability to bend, squat down, and reach above your head, throughout the day. Work in partnership with Corporate Development and Strategy groups to develop strategy maps and business plans.
Identify and assist in the prioritization of merger and acquisition (M&A) targets based on strategic initiatives and growth priorities. Drive integration of acquired products into new and established sales initiatives. Collaborate with Strategy and R&D teams on next generation technology. Create, implement, maintain, and train on the use of value calculators. Provide leadership within applicable industry associations and provide trade show support, as appropriate. Powder Coater needed - £13-14 an hour DOE, Standard Days- Monday to Friday, Permanent position, 28 days holiday, 40 hours per week.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join a highly reputable and market-leading manufacturing business.
This is a permanent, full-time position working standard daytime hours, Monday to Friday.
The role is based in Morley area
As a Powder Coater, you will use both powder coating and wet painting techniques to deliver high-quality finishes on a variety of metal components.
Key Responsibilities of the Powder Coater role:
Apply powder coatings and wet paints using manual spray guns and appropriate equipment
Set up, operate, and maintain spray and coating machinery to ensure smooth operation
Ensure all coatings meet required quality, finish, and specification standards
Inspect completed parts for consistency and high-quality finish
Identify and resolve coating issues to reduce waste and rework
Accurately maintain production and job records
Comply with all on-site health and safety procedures
Requirements of the Powder Coater role:
Previous experience in both powder coating and wet paint spraying
Skilled in manual spraying techniques and producing quality finishes
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Good communication and teamwork skills
Solid understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop or production environment
