TASKS
PROFILE:
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
Follow checklists to inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions.
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.Responsibilities/Expectations:

Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality.
Learn all manual tasks performed within the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge:
English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Skills:
Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
Coordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.

Performing General Physical Activities - Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
Handling and Moving Objects - Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment - Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical (not electronic) principles.
Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards - Using relevant information and individual judgement to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:00AM - 6:30PM
Pay: $30/hour.
This position offers a 36-hour workweek with compensation equivalent to a standard 40-hour workweek.
Weekend Shift Differential: $3.00/hour

Investigate production and process issues, providing technical solutions and support

Perform basic structural analysis and support simulation activities where required
Support design reviews and incorporate feedback into engineering solutions
Implement production performance metrics and contribute to process optimisation initiatives
Requirements of the Production & Process Engineer (Devon, UK):
HNC, HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related discipline
Proven experience in an engineering design or production engineering role
Strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred) with the ability to produce detailed models and drawings
Experience working within a manufacturing, workshop or production environment
Understanding of engineering drawing control and PDM systems
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication and assembly
Ability to perform basic engineering calculations and support analysis activities
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers
Good report writing and documentation skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
Desirable Experience:
Experience with FEA tools (e.G.

Summary: The Cement Additives Process Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and profitability through strategic technical support and contribution to the sales process.

Responsibilities:
Serve as a technical ambassador for the Euclid Chemical cement additive sales team. Subject matter expert to provide feedback and troubleshooting information for customers. Act as a technical expert on the latest cement manufacturing technologies, equipment, and best practices to maintain Euclid Chemical's competitive edge. Deliver customer support through industrial trials, mill audits, special projects, data analysis, and detailed reporting to retain existing customers and attract new ones Compile and analyze industrial trial process data, and prepare detailed reports providing conclusions and action items from industrial trial runs. Keep thorough and updated records of activity history with active and potential cement additive customers. Design and execution of plant industrial trials and mill audits. Maintenance and operation of portable pump equipment inventory to utilize during industrial trials. Collaborate with the Cement Additives Technical Manager and Cement Lab Manager to develop new products and enhance existing lines based on market trends, competitive analysis, and industrial trial results. Work collaboratively with Euclid Chemical Cement Additives Lab team in the development and improvement of laboratory ball mill methodologies for testing materials.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical or mechanical) or chemistry - master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cement manufacturing process control or quality management.
Skills and Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge and understanding of cement manufacturing, cement chemistry, and raw and finish mill circuit operation. Basic understanding of cement additives chemistries. Ability to interpret lab outputs (e.g., XRD, clinker microscopy, isothermal calorimetry, and physical test results) to develop customer-specific strategies and product recommendations. Proficiency with cement standards (ASTM, CSA, etc.). Strong knowledge of milling equipment, particle classifiers, circuit configurations, and pyro processes for optimizing clinker performance. Advanced knowledge of MS Office computer software: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Basic knowledge of MS Outlook, Teams, Edge Internet Browser. Knowledge of industry trends, including low clinker content cement production and co-grinding with alternative materials. Data analysis and report writing skills. Communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership and team management capabilities. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ability to design and execute plant industrial trials and mill audits.
Travel:
Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings and plant industrial trials (up to 50%).

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Service Engineer / HGV Technician / Plant Fitter to support customers across the region.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer experienced with HGVs, plant machinery, heavy equipment, terminal tractors, or airport GSE.Location: Multi Location, UK Wide Salary: Up to £44,000 basic + overtime (x1.5) Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm, NO weekends Benefits: Company van & fuel card, pension, technical training, wellness programme and more.The Role - Mobile HGV Technician You will carry out a wide range of servicing, inspections, fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs on:
Distribution Tractors
Ro-Ro Tractors
Terminal / Yard Tugs
Airport Ground Support Equipment
Other specialist heavy vehicles
Key Responsibilities of the Mobile HGV Technician:
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
Conduct detailed safety inspections and produce accurate reports.
Use diagnostic systems, technical manuals and test equipment to identify faults.
Complete all work to manufacturer standards and in line with safety procedures.
Liaise with customers and obtain sign-off for completed work.
Work independently, managing your own time and workload.
Occasional out-of-hours or stay-away work may be required.
What We're Looking For Essential skills & experience for the Mobile HGV Technician:
City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Mechanical & Electronic Systems, HGV/Plant Maintenance or similar.
Strong experience with auto-electrical diagnostics and use of diagnostic tools.
Background in HGVs, plant equipment, specialist vehicles, or heavy machinery.
Ability to interpret technical information and follow safety procedures.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable (not essential):
Experience with terminal tractors/yard tugs.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or CANbus systems.
Experience working in ports, airports or industrial sectors.
