PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To carry out basic vehicle movement, handling, and storage operations in accordance with site and customer requirements.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carrying out basic vehicle movement and handling
Using HHD scanners to scan, locate and direct all vehicle movements (initial training will be provided)
Carrying out basic vehicle checks as required and report findings to line manager
Ensuring all vehicles are parked as per relevant customer standards
Responsibility for your own safety and of those who work around you
Maintain a safe driving standard and adhere to site speed limits
Checking all vehicles for damage before moving and reporting any damage found to line manager
Carrying out other yard operation duties as requested by the yard chain of command
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
· Must be comfortable driving manual and automatic vehicles
· Ability to work under pressure
· Full valid drivers licence
· 2 years' experience in a similar role (driving)
Those with First Aid and/or Fire Marshall Certification and experience will be looked upon favourably, but this is essential for the role

Assisting the Warehouse Manager with smooth operations in the main warehouse. Supporting our field personnel by staging supplies and equipment for upcoming projects. Provide professional customer service to all customers. Accountable for the movement and appearance of all materials and equipment in and out of the warehouse. Assisting the BRS manager with a high level of service and efficiency. Strengthen existing relations with current vendors/suppliers. Electronic (software/barcode) and physical receiving, tracking, and stocking materials and supplies. Fill supply requisitions. Pick up / Deliver Supplies when necessary. Ensure there is sufficient stock for BRS work crews. Prepare for weekly Remediation Projects, including materials, supplies, and equipment. Loading of all trucks and trailers. Equipment maintenance, repair, disinfecting, and calibrating. General maintenance of facilities, buildings, and plumbing. Oversee Vehicle -Fleet Service (PM) schedules and expedite vehicle service.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in warehouse work Mechanical abilities include small engine knowledge and repair. Must be able to deal with all levels of management.
Lifting heavy items and working with chemicals. Overnight absences are not required but can be broached during an emergency call. Computer literate. This position requires extreme flexibility with the ability to handle several tasks at once. Position requires the ability to set priorities and to follow up on tasks delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. Detail Oriented skills and good organizational skills. This position will require the ability to assume additional responsibilities as the firm continues to grow or as needed by the immediate supervisor. General Mechanical abilities for equipment repair and troubleshooting. Local travel is required, with the possibility of out-of-town travel on an as-needed basis.

My client, a leading manufacturing business, is looking for a hands-on and safety-conscious Warehouse Loader to join their shift team.
The role involves the accurate movement, storage and despatch of finished products, including locating finished reels within the warehouse, managing stock, using IT systems, preparing products for customer despatch, and ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly and efficiently.

Duties include:
- Using the company's business systems to accurately control and track products entering and leaving the warehouse.
- Safely storing, locating, repacking and recording finished products within the warehouse.
- Managing warehouse space effectively, including stock rotation and the movement of products where required.
- Carrying out quality checks and addressing any issues arising from production or logistics requirements.
- Loading trailers with the correct products, in the correct sequence and to the required quality standards.
- Unloading incoming products and ensuring they are correctly located and documented.
- Monitoring the condition of plant, equipment and processes, identifying potential issues at an early stage.
- Inspecting material handling equipment and reporting any defects to engineering and management teams.
- Taking appropriate corrective action where possible and working with relevant teams to minimise disruption to operations.
- Completing accurate stock checks and updating the relevant systems when required.
- Following all company health, safety, environmental and operating procedures.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working within a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Good IT skills, with previous experience using warehouse or stock control systems.
- Previous experience working with an IMS (Integrated Management System) would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A valid external or in-house Counterbalance FLT qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
- Good manual handling skills and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
- A strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
- Good attention to detail, particularly when handling stock, documentation and customer despatches.
- A reliable and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a shift team.
