I am currently working with a great dealership group who are looking to add a qualified Mobile Bodyshop Technician to their team based out of the Birmingham area.
Mobile Bodyshop Technician roles and responsibilities:
- Carrying out any scheduled repairs that have been pre-arranged.
- Preparation work
- Local Paintwork
- Medium filler repairs
- Bodywork refurbishing on vehicles to name but a few of the tasks.
Skills and experience required as a Mobile Bodyshop Technician:
- At least 2 years experience as a Body Repair Technician
- ATA/ NVQ certification is advantageous but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- A fast and accurate worker
- Highly organised with a flexible approach to working patterns

Be able to conduct laboratory testing for the routine daily tests of products (simple titrations, Brookfield viscosity, Karl Fisher % moisture, & color as well as develop basic skills to operate gas chromatography); Comprehension of the following manufacturing techniques: vacuum distillation, atmospheric controls, chemical addition, filtration methods, control of exothermic reactions, and adjustment of rates of addition within the operating requirements of the equipment being used.
Acts in a stewardship capacity for the company, works as a functional member of the team, has ability to self-direct and self-regulate workday.
Works with the EH&S Corporate Manager to assist and administer the scheduling, verification, and participation in all environmental and safety training as required by Federal, State, County, and Local regulation as well as company policies.

Work with the Production Superintendent to verify inventory control measures through shift paperwork / batch ticket review, cycle count, and transfer documentation. As a Transport Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be carrying out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on vehicle refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
You will be operating remotely, providing services throughout the Midlands.
This full-time role offers salary range of £40,000 - £45,000 and benefits.
You will work across the East Midlands and can be based at any location within the region
You will be responsible for:
* Managing van stock to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Completing daily safety checks on the company vehicle.
* Liaising with management regarding job scheduling, downtime, and customer orders.
* Accurately completing paperwork and digital job records for invoicing and compliance.
* Supporting apprentices or trainee engineers when required.
* Maintaining excellent customer service and always representing the company professionally.
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as a Mobile Refrigeration Engineer, Transport Refrigeration Engineer Vehicle Air Conditioning Engineer, Mobile AC Engineer, Refrigeration & AC Engineer, Transport AC Engineer, HGV Refrigeration Engineer, Vehicle Refrigeration Technician, Mobile Refrigeration & AC Engineer, Air Conditioning Service Engineer, Refrigeration Service Engineer, Mobile HVAC Engineer, Commercial Vehicle AC Technician, Mobile Refrigeration Technician, Vehicle AC & Refrigeration Engineer, HGV AC & Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role.
* Experience in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Engineering.
* F-Gas certification.
* C&G qualification or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
* IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and handheld PDA systems.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
