My client is the local council who have a portfolio of children's homes offering residential care and support for young people with behavioural difficulties, traumatic backgrounds, learning disabilities and complex needs based in Tiverton, Exeter and Devon.

As a Youth & Child Support Worker, you'll support young people with a range of complex needs including Autism, learning disabilities, and emotional or behavioural challenges.

👤 What We're Looking For:
6+ months' experience in youth support or care (essential)
Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS (Child and Adult Workforce) on the Update Service or issued within the last 2 years
Valid photo ID and right to work documentation must be presented at first shift
Safeguarding/Child Protection training (required)
CPI/MAPA training is desirable, but not essential
A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred due to location
Willingness to complete on-site 2-hour induction prior to first shift
🕒 Shift Patterns:
Shifts available Monday to Sunday
Typical pattern: 08:00 - 20:00 + Sleep-in
