THE OPPORTUNITY:
One of Birmingham's most respected brokers is now looking to expand after recent growth and has a position for a Commercial Account Handler to join them.
When you start as a Commercial Account Handler you will provide support to the Account Executives where you will also get the opportunity to join them on client visits.
along with other areas of the business you will deal with client portfolio requests, such as mid-term adjustments and renewals actions.
These would be for mid-Market/ corporate clients with policy sizes going upwards from £50,000.Clients will expect you to be their main contact within the business, therefore you will need to have the required skills to deal with all queries and relevant issues which may arise and the ability to deal with them swiftly.

Purpose
To develop and deliver Domestic Abuse advise, support and training for Education settings, to include Operation Encompass and MARAC.

Responsibilities

To liaise with the SSI Team / Business Support to produce data and reports to identify uptake, themes and trends relating to Operation Encompass and domestic abuse to share with steering groups.
2.3 To analyse data to assist and measure Operation Encompass take up and to impact evaluation.
2.4 To develop and deliver briefings, training and webinars on Domestic Abuse themes, information, systems and processes, to Education Settings.
2.5 To work collaboratively with the Education Safeguarding Team and West Midlands Police in developing Operation Encompass and providing a Domestic Abuse Support Offer to schools to include contribution to MARAC.

The Role
A typical week consists of 4-5 shifts Sunday to Thursday.
You will be leading and supporting a team of merchandisers and replenishers carrying out tasks required by the client.
Communicate with Management on progress and end of project sign off.
Carry out health and safety inductions and checks.
Shift lengths are generally 12 hours, days and nights (predominately nights).
Access to available assignments will be on your smartphone via our Field Power platform where you can set your availability and accept shifts.
You will be required to clock in and out using your smart phone via our RAS Dashboard.
Work will be carried out on different retail customer sites / stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis.
You will be required to carry out the following:
Removing and replacing stock with the use of client plans and systems.
Adjusting shelf heights.
Moving stock from the warehouse onto the shop floor, with use of roll cages and pallet trucks.
Stock replenishment.
Travelling will be involved when local work is not available.

Our client, a leading international manufacturer, is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their site in Birmingham at a time of huge growth for the business.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a multi-skilled maintenance team that works together as a flexible and professional unit.
You will be required to assist with both breakdown and preventative maintenance across the site safely and professionally.
Duties include:
- Adhere to all safety rules and requirements at all times.
- Carry out routine daily preventative maintenance checks.
- Work alongside the Production Team Leaders, Shift Technicians and Operators, reporting findings to your Departmental Team Leader.
- Take responsibility for any specific area as required to understand its operation and fully understand the maintenance requirements and safe systems of work for that area.
- Ensure that all tasks are accompanied by the relevant supporting documentation (work orders, risk assessments etc.).
- Carry out all non-planned and planned maintenance tasks promptly.
- Be a front-line point of communication for Production Team Leaders, Shift Technicians and Operators during maintenance activities.
- Be actively involved in projects of improvement, extension or modification of equipment to optimise efficiency, reliability and safety.
What we are looking for:
- HND/HNC Electrical Engineering (Essential)
- Previous experience in heavy industry and an understanding of 3-phase control systems
- Knowledge of PLC fault-finding
- Knowledge of Isolation Procedures
- Knowledge of Hydraulic/Pneumatic/Mechanical systems
- Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
- Attention to detail with the ability to analyse problems and action solutions.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Ability to self-organise, prioritise work and adhere to deadlines.

To work as part of the Youth Offending Court Team servicing the Birmingham Youth, Magistrates and Crown Court to fulfill the statutory requirements placed on the Youth Offending Service by the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and any proceeding legislation.

Enforcement of Statutory YOT Orders including preparing and conducting the prosecution of breach and revocation proceedings in court.
The collection, collation and maintenance of data necessary for the efficient performance and evaluation of the YOT services.
Liaison with other agencies involved in the court process, including the presentation and dissemination of YOS information, formal reports and interventions to Judges and Magistrates.
To contribute to the delivery of a service that offers equality of opportunity and has regard for the needs of children, young people and their parents or carers.
The Co-ordination of remands to local authority accommodation at the Court stage.
The production of placement information and post custody reports within the asset plus framework as required by the Youth Justice Board.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to produce good quality court reports.
Ability to co-ordinate the assessments of young people with regard to public protection prevention of offending, risk and safeguarding
Ability to work well in a pressurized environment, meeting short deadlines and prioritize workload accordingly
Ability to ensure that the YOS electronic database is kept up-to-date daily and contribute to statistical monitoring for the team.
Good understanding of the role of a YOT Court Officer.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with court users, agencies, other professionals, field teams, parents and young people.
Ability to maintain concise records of formal processes and ensure appropriate dissemination.
