As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds while working from engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.Key Responsibilities
MIG welding mild steel and stainless steel componentsReading and interpreting engineering drawingsPreparing materials for welding, including grinding, cleaning and fit-upInspecting completed welds to ensure required quality standards are metCarrying out basic fabrication and assembly work when requiredWorking to production schedules and customer specificationsMaintaining a safe, clean and organised work areaFollowing all health, safety and quality procedures
