Required Experience & Skills
Experience in construction HSEQ within a project or site environmentStrong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, quality, and wellbeing requirementsAbility to advise, influence, and challenge operational teams and subcontractorsStrong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skillsProactive, organised, and comfortable managing priorities in a dynamic environment
Qualifications
Degree or professional qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Quality, or a related disciplineNEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)Experience in risk assessment, auditing, incident investigation, and compliance monitoring

This is a site-based role focused on setting out, quality control, and technical coordination across large-scale construction works.The role suits an engineer who enjoys being hands-on on site, working closely with planners, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately, and to specification in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities
Set out works in line with drawings, specifications, and site surveysEnsure dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and quality standards are metCoordinate with planning and construction teams to align schedules and sequencingInspect works and materials to ensure compliance with specificationsManage RFIs and technical queries with subcontractors and consultantsMaintain quality records, site diaries, and progress reportsReview subcontractor drawings and construction outputsSupport inspections, testing, snagging, and handover activitiesAssist with site facilities, deliveries, and material trackingPromote safe working practices and review method statementsMentor junior engineers and contribute to team developmentSupport measurement, valuation, and reporting with the commercial team
Required Experience

Desirable Experience
Experience on large-scale or complex projects (data centres, industrial, infrastructure)Exposure to BIM, digital construction tools, or 3D scanningKnowledge of temporary works coordinationAbility to work confidently with senior stakeholders
