This is a residential care home for adults aged between 21-31 with severe learning disabilities, Autism, communication difficulties, challenging behaviour and other complex needs

As the Deputy Manager your key duties include:
Dedicated to undertaking the deputy management of supporting people with complex needs, your team will support service users to achieve their goals in life and will actively seek out opportunities for them to develop their skills and confidence through a variety of staff involvement, activities and other initiatives
You will effectively lead and inspire your team to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care
Will be responsible for delivering best practice in social care whilst continually developing the service
You will have the opportunity to use your skills in an environment where the effective management of people and processes will be critical to the service success
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Have in depth practical knowledge and experience in a similar role
Current knowledge of appropriate legislation
Excellent management and leadership skills
Ability to develop great support skills within the staff team
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £14.10 per hour and the annual salary is £27,495 per annum.
This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours a week working through days.

Exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) or Nurse Associate position in Preston.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and practice information.
Prepare consulting and treatment rooms, ensuring examination instruments and specimen collection materials are stocked and consumables are in date.
Manage clinical waste disposal and maintain cleanliness of consultation rooms.
Perform stock control duties, including storing new stock and rotating supplies as per policy.
Monitor and record daily vaccine refrigerator temperatures.
Record patient data such as blood pressure, smoking status, heights, and weights according to protocol.
Prepare forms and documents for patient services and ensure patients understand requirements.
Perform phlebotomy, including glucose tolerance tests, ensuring correct documentation.
Fit and remove 24-hour blood pressure monitors.
Assist in calibrating medical equipment under supervision.
Perform electrocardiography (ECG) according to practice protocol.

Act as a chaperone when required by the clinician.

Assist in baby weighing and capturing dermatology photographs.
