The Commercial Façade Field Technician actively performs and enforces Company safety policy and program to minimize accidents affecting employees, the public, and property.
They will be responsible for attending safety meetings, complying with governmental regulations, reporting, and investigating accidents, and planning site-specific job safety procedures including:
$21-38/hour (not including prevailing wage)

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Attend and understand daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project.
Inspect and ensure safety of surroundings, equipment and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.
Execution of project tasks with knowledge of expected production rates, ensuring tools and materials are used safely and efficiently to complete the assigned project. Complete the project per the scope or work, design and specification of contract & engineering documents as directed by foreman.
Responsible to aid foreman in tracking and monitoring project inventory. Maintains highest quality on-site customer relations in projecting positive image. Has knowledge/understanding and performs work in compliance with all governmental rules and regulations affecting work sites and employees, i.e.
OSHA, DOT, EEO/Affirmative Action, EPA, etc. Provides management with earliest possible notification of real and potential job problems. Accepts responsibility for the care, custody, and use of company equipment, material, tools, and other assets as assigned by the WTI Commercial Foreman. Understands and executes proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Foreman and/or Commercial Business Manager. Maintains ethical business conduct.

A leading Pensions and Investment firm is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys actuarial work and would like to focus on more technical aspects.
You will be responsible for completing actuarial calculations and communicating results to team members and members of the client teams.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Calculating and checking individual member liabilities.
Review scheme information, i.e., benefit summary, benefit changes and discuss anomalies with client teams.
Use Firm's bespoke valuation systems to perform actuarial valuations.
Performing individual and scheme level checks on the output.
Work with the other members of the technical team and people in the wider business on ad-hoc projects to improve efficiency and develop processes.
Carrying out self-checks on all work.
Take responsibility for maintaining knowledge on relevant industry changes which impact on day-to-day work.
Take ownership and responsibility of workload and effectively communicate progress with colleagues.
Flexibility to travel to other offices on an occasional basis.

A client within the Public Sector based in West Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Highways Engineer to join their design team as soon as possible.
The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a highways environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to have experience and knowledge relating to the design and implementation of Highways Maintenance related schemes.
The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, and as a part of a team, with the main objective of ensuring the Principal Contractor has a clear plan of what they are required to build.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Undertake and provide detailed drawings and documentation to assist in the delivery of the Highways Maintenance Annual Works Programme.
Working under own supervision.
Provide required pre- construction information, that includes a design that has an accurate Bill of Quantities.
To assist in the development of information to form a construction phase Health and Safety plan, which satisfies Construction Design Management requirements.
Supervise and assist team members engaged in the design and implementation of highway management and maintenance processes.
Supervise the work and monitor the cost of schemes throughout construction, when required to do so.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require a Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline or extensive equivalent appropriate experience as well as a full driving license.
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
Making an effective contribution to internal and external meetings
Developing productive working relationships that command respect, trust, and confidence.
Knowledge of asset management, highway engineering and maintenance practises.
Knowledge of Construction Design Management Legislation.
Knowledge of legislation, regulations, policies, inspections, and performance information applicable to the service area.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £20 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.

The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a construction environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to assist in the delivery of the corporate health, safety and resilience service.
Focusing primarily on health and safety related tasks.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
To advise and manage a range of compliance functions which relate to the management of assets owned or occupied by the Council, including duties under the Equalities Act 2010, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and elements of Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and other relevant legislation.
Support internal teams to ensure that the Council's buildings comply with the current legislation.
Coordinate delivery of statutory obligations, H&S and compliance with key stakeholders across the estate - including both the operational, educational and commercial portfolio.
Maintain an effective and up to date register of asset compliance.
Building up further knowledge and skills in these areas supported, where appropriate, by the team.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require a Level 3 qualification in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent) or willing to work towards.
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
Relevant experience of working in a health, safety and resilience environment / Engineering / Building Construction.
Ability to carry out research
Ability to work using own initiative and deliver tasks within deadlines/timescales
Excellent computer skills including experience in the use of Microsoft Office functionality and inputting/exporting data from systems
Experience of working as part of a team
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between £25 to £30 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.

Compliance Officer Permanent £43k KentAbout the role To support the Building Safety Manager by regularly reporting on all information relating to contract delivery on compliance-related contracts.
To deliver excellent services in a friendly solution-focused way.Responsibilities
Lead the administration and management of Asbestos Surveying and Asbestos Removal contracts, along with any other small compliance-related contracts.
Provide regular updates and support to the Building Safety Manager on contract outcomes against the programme, including KPIs, budget, contract meetings, and general progress all within the contractual framework.
Undertake procurement exercises with the Building Safety Manager, and Procurement Manager for the compliance contracts.
Ensure systems are continuously updated including but not limited to the Asbestos Register, Asbestos Management Plan, Housing and Asset System, CRM, and Documents Management.
This role involves raising and completing orders, organising inspections, processing payment, and carrying out other support tasks such as word processing, correspondence, specifications, and providing general support to the Building Safety Manager within the Asset Team.
Attend relevant webinars, courses, and collaborative networks to ensure that legislation and regulation changes are incorporated into our Policies and procedures.
Undertake any other duties to meet the requirements of the role.
Requirements
Proven experience in asbestos contract management is essential.
Detailed knowledge of building pathology
Understanding of compliance activities within social housing and ability to manage compliance contracts.
Experience in using a variety of JCT and partnering contracts with the ability to undertake a procurement exercise.
Asbestos P405 in the Management of Asbestos is essential (Another such as P402 would be considered).
Must hold a valid UK driving license and have own vehicle for business use.
