Duties and responsibilities of the Crewing Supervisor:
• Ensure vessels are legally and appropriately crewed at all times
• Maintain and update crew rotas in line with company policies
• Organise and manage crew travel – including flights, transport, and accommodation
• Liaise with travel providers to manage bookings, cancellations, and refunds
• Maintain certification records using Axisware and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support the recruitment and vetting of new crew members
• Participate in crew pay and welfare discussions with management and stakeholders
• Visit vessels to conduct structured feedback sessions with crew
• Maintain accurate records of crew personal details, PPE, and next of kin
• Provide out-of-hours support on a shared rota basis
Qualifications and requirements for the Crewing Supervisor:
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proficient IT skills, including strong Excel knowledge
• Full UK Driving Licence (required)
• Ability to commute to or relocate near Scarborough

The below job description will outline this position of: Mechanical Technician
Typically, this person must be reliable team players with strong health and safety awareness, willing to work on-call and at short notice, while upholding high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
This safety-critical role involves working as part of a small maintenance team, performing manual and occasional confined space tasks to high safety standards, with potential travel requiring a full (preferably clean) driving licence.

Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Technician:
Complete weekly and monthly PPM documentation within agreed deadlines.
Prepare work areas for complex maintenance tasks on depot systems or components.
Perform planned maintenance and promptly address equipment faults.
Immediately report site defects to the Depot Engineer for timely resolution.
Apply diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve faults in systems and components.
Possess strong knowledge of Safe Systems of Work, including RAMS and Permit to Work procedures; capable of reviewing tasks and preparing RAMS to ensure safe execution.
Interpret technical documentation, including P&IDs, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.
Qualifications and requirements for the Mechanical Technician:
Full Uk Driver's licence
Strong working knowledge of rotating and static plant, including tanks, pumps, compressors, valves, actuators, pipework, and oil separators.
Qualified Mechanical Technician with a recognised Mechanical Craft Apprenticeship or equivalent (e.g.
NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Maintenance, BTEC Level 3, Flange Management Training).
Computer literate with the ability to complete paperwork and update records accurately and on time.
Medically fit for confined space entry and use of Breathing Apparatus.
Mechanical CompEx EX-11 knowledge highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities for the Structural Engineer – Composites:
•Interpret the Master Work List to define clear design scope alongside the Client Project Manager and Line Manager.
•Support GRP composite design development across production sites.
•Prepare 3D models and 2D drawings using AutoCAD and Siemens NX for use by Oyster’s production teams.
•Ensure designs comply with ISO 12215, Lloyd’s SSC, and DNV HSLC classification standards.
•Review third-party survey reports, prepare internal surveys, and propose repair strategies.
•Assist in material test sample design, commissioning of tests, and analysis of test results.
•Collaborate with QA, Production, and Metrology departments to optimise manufacturing methods.
•Contribute to continuous improvement (value engineering), and drive cost and weight reductions.
•Attend internal project meetings and provide feedback from production to improve future designs.
•Support procurement and manage technical elements of supply chain in relation to composite design.
Essential Skills & Qualifications of the Structural Engineer – Composites:
•Degree qualified with 2–5 years of marine composite design experience, preferably in a yacht production environment.
•Proficient in AutoCAD, Siemens NX, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
•Strong knowledge of GRP composite materials including polyester, vinylester, and epoxy systems.
•Familiarity with infusion techniques is desirable.
•Understanding of yacht systems and installation requirements as relevant to composite design.
•Previous experience from a boatyard or marine consultancy is preferred.
•Strong supplier and product knowledge, with ability to manage design aspects of the supply chain.
•Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadline pressure.
•Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between UK production sites.
