THE POSITION
This position is for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Youth Mental Health) to join a dedicated team in Queensland.
As part of the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS), you will provide clinical specialist psychiatric support to 18-25 year olds, contributing significantly to medical education and safe, effective patient-centered clinical practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Resident Medical Officers, Registrars, Fellow Consultants, Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals.
Provide specialist medical services to consumers.
Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities.

The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in blood transfusion to work in a busy NHS Hospital in West Yorkshire. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's service.
What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?
As a Biomedical Scientist in blood transfusion, you will be expected to have an excellent experience in blood typing and cross matching using analysers.
Experience issuing blood for transfusions would be preferential and any experience with complex transfusion reactions would also be a plus.
You will be experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting the analysers alongside your usual duty in loading and operation.
