This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in Frontline and assessment work.
About the team
The team are responsible for making assessments and decisions as well as any needed statutory functions to ensure the correct outcomes for children and their families are achieved.
They work with children with a range of different needs such as CIN (Children in Need), CP (Child protection) you will also need to make judgements as to what the appropriate course of action would be to each case sent from our MASH Team.
About you
Knowledge and experience working within a Frontline Team such as Child Protection or Referral and Assessment is essential for this role.

We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Children in Need Team.
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.
About the team
The team work in partnership with the children and their families to understand the support that they need to live safely and happily.
Creating plans for the children and the families will be made and reviewed every 12 weeks in this role.
Visits to the children at their homes every 6 weeks is essential in order to be able to make the best decisions for each case.
In this role the team will also attend IPCP meetings.
About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years' experience is required to be deemed suitable for this role.
The ability to complete court work and protect the children is essential in this role.
Extensive assessment work, long term work and CP experience is part of the role.
A valid and clean driving license and car is essential.

Teaching Assistant required to support in an SEMH School for students aged 11 - 18.
This school is based in Woking.
About the role:
You will be working in a school supporting young people from ages 11- 18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
This is a very small and intimate school.
You will be working alongside other TA's and a Teacher to help support these young children to follow national curriculum and complete theor GCSE's!
About you:
A successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviours, mental health, or autism.
Experience working within a residential childrens home or SEMH / SEN school is desirable.

About the team
The team consists of a small group of social workers that report to a senior practitioner.
Their work includes assessment, care planning, and permanency planning for children and young people, both of whom are in care proceedings, as well as children who are looked after following final court orders.
They are responsible for progressing work within the statutory framework for Looked After Children, which involves ensuring Looked After Children reviews, personal education planning meetings, and Looked After Children medicals are progressed within statutory timescales.
Sometimes the team works with a cohort of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and will be expected to take part in age assessments in their respect.
