Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (40 hours)

Our client is a privately owned mineral and aggregates contractor with extensive experience in the plant industry.
The Role:
As a Workshop Welder, you will report to the workshop manager and undertake repair and maintenance of heavy-duty quarrying equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain paperwork, including daily timesheets and job cards.
* Fabricate panels and maintain various equipment components.
* Preparing materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and grinding as required.
Requirements:
* Previously worked as a Workshop Welder or in a similar role.
* Experience in maintaining heavy equipment used in quarrying, mining, or construction.
* Background in welding, including panel fabrication, and maintenance.
* Familiarity and/or understanding of quarrying sector with engineering certification in welding.
* NVQ qualification or experienced welder skilled in MIG, gas, and MMA.
* Technical competence in diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulics.
