Summary:
The Strategic Project Manager is responsible for the broad set of activities required to drive and complete strategic product development and launch initiatives for their assigned product line(s).
This position manages small and medium strategic initiatives which are part of the product platform's 5-year strategic plan coordinating across functions and ensuring timely and successful completion of projects.
The Strategic Project Manager is an integral part of the larger Product Management team and reports to the Director of Project Management.
Responsibilities:
Lead strategic projects to support the growth and profitability of Rust-Oleum with goal to deliver 10%+ CAGR or 3X market pace for assigned product. Manage and execute small and medium strategic projects envisaged in the 3-5 year strategic platform plan including inorganic portfolio expansion. Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met alongside Product and Marketing teams.
Build partnerships and collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, R&D, and Marketing to ensure timely execution of projects. Own the Stage Gate new product development process focused on bringing innovative products to the market in a timely manner. Track project costs in order to meet budget and evaluate the changes in ROI due to changes in project scope or timeline. Communicate project timelines, issues, and results in an effective manner. Adjust priorities on an ad hoc basis as external clients require changes. Understand regulatory requirements/legislation impacting project delivery and recommends controls and/or practices to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field. 8+ years of relevant work experience; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification not required but a plus Strong interpersonal skills, organizational impact, and ability to manage projects and mentor people while promoting Rust-Oleum's culture. Strong decision making and prioritization skills, especially when multiple trade-offs are involved, and faster decisions are required. High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, time-management, organizational, communication and reasoning skills. Must be able to create effective solutions while maintaining positive relationship.
Motivated self-starter who maintains a friendly, courteous, and compassionate demeanor at all times while showing understanding for pain points of stakeholders.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Manager, Business Process Improvement is a new role that is being created to help Rust-Oleum become a more process focused organization.
This role will be responsible for helping the organization develop and improve our processes to help our business operate more effectively.
You will be working with our process owners, subject matter experts and functional leaders across the organization in driving sustainable process improvements, using our Four D's of process - Define, Design, Document and Discipline.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide thought leadership to the organizations process strategies and approaches. Identify and lead opportunities to improve business processes across the company. Work with the process and functional owners to ensure process designs are thorough and robust and performing at expected levels. Ensure effective implementation of processes by creating and executing on change management plans. Facilitate Process Improvement Workshops - Guide teams through the creation or significant redesign of processes.
Manage the process audit program including developing audit questionnaires, performing audits, reporting on results, and follow-up on corrective actions. Improve overall process skill-sets throughout the company by identifying gaps, creating training and development plans, and serving as a support resource to Business Process Owners and SME's - help build out Process Governance skills throughout the organization Assist in the creation of process road maps and providing support to the process owners to execute against these road-maps. QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven leadership skills and experience in a high performing organizations. 5-15 years broad job experience in multiple functions to provide a well-rounded perspective on business functions. Job Purpose:

Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence. Provides technical support to project managers. Develops and maintains project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records. Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices, and submittals. Reports the status of projects to business and market leaders. Participates in team meetings and provides regular on-site project presence. Liaison with NJDEP on regulatory submissions.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Experience: 5 years of experience and/or knowledge in the environmental permitting and compliance. OSHA Compliance Experience in implementation and administration of OSHA and Environmental programs in a chemical manufacturing facility with knowledge of batch and/or continuous processes Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment Leadership of EHS reviews of various new and existing processes Leadership of Management of Change protocols for the site Leadership of Waste Management protocols for the site Knowledge and/or experience in worker exposure assessments Knowledge of security requirements for chemical manufacturing facilities Interpretation of Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets Knowledge of Global Harmonization Standards Preparation of numerous plans, procedures, and reports to Government Agencies and other required parties including landlord householder Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills Training of manufacturing workers in all aspects of EHS&S Proven track record of successfully working with regulatory agencies on detailed permitting issues, plant inspections, etc. Knowledge of additional compliance requirements such as TSCA or DOT

TheWTI Field Resources Supervisor is responsible for the timely delivery of services, profitability, and all employee management and training within their respective region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate staffing and scheduling of all WTI Field Reps in his/her respective regions to ensure proper utilization of manpower on specific jobs for the highest profitability.
Collaborate with other Field Supervisors as necessary. Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process of all WTI Field Reps in the region, which will include random site visits to previous and current job sites, and proper documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied.
Ensure profitability within the region by monitoring and managing employee expenses for accuracy and abuse, use of overtime hours, and all full-time personnel's billable time to meet the required percentage.
The Supervisor should stress the profitability factor to all field personnel. Weekly communication with Sales Managers is required.
The Supervisor will field all questions/concerns from the WTI Field Reps and will handle all discrepancies between the WTI Field Reps and the Sales Force. Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, voicemail, or in person) with the customers, sales reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters. The Supervisor will also be the main contact for the office personnel if there are any problems concerning a WTI Field Rep. Ensure that all WTI Field Reps will have a professional appearance and demeanor while completing services for a customer. Conduct training (both hands-on field training and classroom style) for Field Reps, according to WTI Training Policy, to include: Proper completion of all services and related paperwork. Safety training and training documentation for all Field Reps within the region. Approval/certification of each Field Rep, including OSHA Hazard Awareness, ToolBox Talks, etc. Provide training of new contractors on the proper application of Tremco Roof Systems.
Demonstrate working knowledge of all services provided. Manage, monitor, and document the performance of Field Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.
Consult with Human Resources as needed. Work in conjunction with the Recruiting Department for hiring of all new personnel.
Ensure that all required paperwork is submitted to the corporate office on a timely basis. Conduct new employee orientation for all new hires, including training on all company policies, administrative processes, procedures, and required technical and safety information. Handle all administrative matters and corresponding paperwork within the region, including expense management, monthly sales projections, Field Tech time management, status reports, bidding jobs with reps, large job sign-offs, project documentation, etc.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Business Science Key Account Research Intern will engage in high-level research on key accounts utilizing platforms like Construct Connect, Dodge BI, warranty systems, and SalesForce.
Collaborate with the Director of Building Science and regional sales team to identify key accounts, offering insights for growth opportunities and strategic initiatives to facilitate and drive growth based on past activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the Director of Building Science and regional sales team. Identify key accounts within the region and compile a list. Conduct comprehensive research on each account using platforms such as Construct Connect, Dodge BI, warranty systems, and SalesForce. Review past activities and collaborate with the sales team to identify strategic opportunities for growth with key accounts.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in any accredited college or university will be considered.
Must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in good academic standing.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
No prior experience is necessary, requires a propensity for learning, openness to training, and a continuous improvement mindset.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc. Adept at conducting comprehensive research and analysis, with the capacity to explore extensive topics and distill substantial data into concise and pertinent summaries. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively convey ideas, analysis, and guidance to diverse areas within the business.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 10 lbs.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $18.00 and $21.50, depending upon the academic year and prior experience/internships with the company (i.e.
returning interns).
This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
All applicants must be available to work during the dates of the formal internship program which begins on June 3, 2024, and ends on August 8, 2024.
Interns may work before and/or after the official program dates if desired and approved by the hiring manager.
