The skilled Commercial Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial roofing systems. GENERAL SUMMARY Drive tractor-trailer unit to make deliveries and pick-ups of finished products, empty drums, etc.
Perform truck safety inspection prior to each trip checking motor, brakes, lights, and tires for proper operation conditions.
Check and assist in loading and/or unloading trailers.
Obtain proper authorizations for all deliveries and pick-ups.
Maintain accurate DOT driver log of required information.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Assist with loading trailer according to bills of lading.
Trailer should be loaded in order that best accommodates stops Check truck according to "Driver's Daily Check List" making necessary adjustments and corrections before leaving. Deliver material to customer's location Assist in unloading at customer site if required and have customer sign proper acknowledgement of delivery Pick up empty drums as instructed Unload empty drums upon return to plant Complete DOT driver log sheets Return completed shipping paperwork to shipping office Notify supervisor of and schedule truck repair and maintenance as necessary

Qualifications & Requirements

Physical Demands:

Perform all filling line machine operation functions related to the filling and packaging of all finished products, including setting up and operating filling line equipment, adhering to production schedule, making equipment adjustments and assisting with line changeover.

Rust-Oleum Corporation is responsible for operating, setting up, adjusting, and performing quality control (QC) checks while tending to machines & hand-fills to package paint in a safe, consistent and efficient manner according to specifications.
In addition, the Filling Line Operator is responsible for reading and following the bill of materials, preparing components, following order specifications to determine material and equipment requirements, and assisting with the QC process.

Here's what you can expect every day:
Perform all filling line machine operation functions related to the filling and packaging of all finished products, including setting up and operating filling line equipment, adhering to production schedule, making equipment adjustments and assisting with line changeover.
Maintain quality standards by completing in-process inspection of cans, boxes and other containers.
Certify that product weights are measured and recorded correctly; checking to make sure package labels and SKUs are correct.
Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be filled, production times, stock specifications, BOM's, and SKU sequences.
Operate equipment at most efficient speed to ensure proper quantity and output.
Housekeeping - maintain work area to 5S procedures, trash removal, clean work area and assist in monthly inventory of raw and stock materials as needed.
Ensure work area is safe, clean and free of recognizable hazards, communicating all spills or other hazards to the shift supervisor.
Required Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and understand instructions, bills of lading and other shipping and production documents
Ability to complete basic math problems
Ability to accurately enter and retrieve computer data
Ability to operate machinery
Ability to solve problems in a team environment and actively participate in the Rust-Oleum Corporation QIO program
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Willing to work overtime as needed

Document quantity, quality, type, weight, test result data, and value of materials or products, to maintain shipping, receiving, and production records and files.
Compare product labels, tags, or tickets, shipping manifests, purchase orders, and bills of lading to verify accuracy of shipment contents, quality specifications, and/or weights.
Communicate with customers and vendors to exchange information regarding products, materials, and services.
Compute product totals and charges for shipments.
Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
