Job Title: Opening General Manager – Café & Tapas Concept Salary: £45,000 - £55,000Location: Marylebone Are you a well-established General Manager with experience in premium Café/Restaurant Concepts and New Site Openings?Our client is a leading dining brand that has an array of concepts where they serve top notch baked goods, great cocktails, artisan coffee and delicious tapas.
They are currently on the lookout for a General Manager to lead the team in the opening of their new site in Marylebone and then move into a multisite role. At least 3 years of experience at GM level in a similar concept.New site opening experience.Detailed oriented, with a drive for impeccable service.
The role of the Opening General Manager – Café & Tapas Concept:
Oversee all operations of the Café/Restaurant, ensuring smooth functioning and high-quality service delivery.Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and enhance profitability.Manage and lead a team of staff members, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.Maintain inventory levels and control costs to optimize profitability while ensuring quality standards are met.Monitor and analyse financial performance, prepare budgets, and take corrective actions as needed.Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and employee development.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively to maintain customer satisfaction.Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
