Provide one-on-one or small group support to children, assist with social skills development, and behaviour management.
Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children and always adhering to safeguarding procedures and policies.
As a nursery teaching assistant, you will need to monitor and record the child's progress.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the nursery, promoting respect, understanding, and acceptance among all children.
The ideal candidate for a Nursery Teaching Assistant will have:
Nursery teaching assistants will need to have experience of working with children, ideally in a nursery or early years educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Some experience supporting children with special needs, ideally knowledge of strategies for behaviour management, communication support, and sensory integration.
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to undergo one.
Minimum of Level 2 qualification in childcare, early years education, or a related field.

Communicate clearly and effectively with students, teachers, and parents, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
Have an enhanced DBS on the update service
Have educational experience in primary school
Listen attentively to student needs and concerns, and respond empathetically and appropriately to facilitate understanding and resolution.
