Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance is currently searching for a Field Support Specialist.
The Field Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to support and increase the sales activity in the Sales Representative's region.
Maintains accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing solid market presence including serving customers.
Developing Business
Preparing and/or distributing marketing materials Inspection and evaluation of the property Preparing roof drawings and sketches Preparing scope of work documents Preparing proposals Attending sales calls Pricing patch and repair jobs Providing technical expertise Attending meetings with the architect, contractor and/or owner
Managing Accounts
Identifying, analyzing, resolving problems Preparing reports to owners regarding the condition of roofs. Project site visits to monitor installation of Tremco roofing products Identification of any aspect of installation that does not comply with specifications Review and resolve concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco's installation instructions Coordinating visits with contractors Preparing reports on progress and problems for the Sales Representative. QA/ QA+ inspections Tremcare Gold Service (periodic visual inspection with minor repairs being addressed where detected on Tremco warranted roofs only). Identifying and troubleshooting problems arising during installation and the lifecycle of the roof May occasionally perform patch and repair work for small leaks that can be performed quickly after identifying the leak and other infrequent, limited physical labor.
May also perform minor maintenance (caulking, flashing touch up, applying small amounts of mastic, removing debris, etc.) to prevent potential leaks.
Other Work
This work may include but is not limited to: Conducting diagnostic infra-red scans of roofs Taking photographs Preparing CADD drawings Delivering or picking up samples, documents or small products from/to architects, owners and contractors.
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or combination of education and experience.
Must have a minimum of two to three years of related hands-on experience and/or training in a similar role.
Prior sales and/or customer related experience in roofing industry required.
Qualifications:
Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards. Experience with MS Word, Excel and familiarity with CADD Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and technical information, e.g.
professional journals and periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to draft reports, business correspondence and similar documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, contractors, and architects. Ability to communicate business and technical information (e.g.
information relating to status of projects, remediation plans, and customer concerns) to Sales Representative. Intermediate skills: ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, area, circumference and volume. The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $60,000 and $80,000.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Process Engineer Co-Op will have the opportunity to learn, experience, and contribute to the operations of the polyurethane sealants and coating manufacturing process.
The Co-op will develop an understanding of the relationship between the manufacturing process and various support teams with a focus on safety, product quality testing, and process validation and improvement.
This position will spend a significant amount of time in the lab and on the plant floor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist quality team in performing routine tests accurately and timely to determine if the products meet product specifications and approve product for shipping and filling. Manage retain room filing and disposal. Sustain lab 5S (QC lab and retain room). Participate in product quality projects with root cause investigations and effective corrective actions with the goal of preventing customer complaints and reducing internal rework. Lead small project for quality improvement through test, data collection, and analysis. Other tasks and projects as assigned.
EDUCATION
Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in good academic standing, pursing a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical focus preferred)
EXPERIENCE
Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred but not required

Tremco is currently searching for an Inbound/Outbound Distribution Clerk in our Distribution Center in Euclid, OH.
The Distribution Clerk is responsiblefor ensuring that all shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents through careful audit of said documents. Work with Plant Operations, Customer Service and Purchasing to resolve allocation discrepancies. Help with or complete special projects at the discretion of the Distribution Services Manager. Ensure good security processes are followed with regard to the CTPAT (driver and visitor sign in). Answer/route all telephone calls in a polite manner, taking messages and routing to proper individual in a timely manner. Assists & evaluates needs with shipping points, services, weights & freight permits, and other information needed. Initiates, answers & documents tracer inquiries when requested via email and/or fax. Maintains shipping stations are in working order and stock with materials. Notifies consignee of shipment arrival and coordinates shipment information to other offices and/or agents. Arranges for movement of freight to consignee/agent & updates the system with information. Route Shuttle Drivers to maximize the efficiency of moving the Production stock to the DC. Processes necessary invoices to appropriate office for payment. Enter data pertaining to domestic and international shipments into the company's ERP system and into the shipping systems of commercial freight carriers. Monitor the supply of packaging materials and requisition additional supplies as required. Confirm physical shipment of goods and facilitate tracking of packages. Identify errors on packing lists & invoices and correct them. In conjunction with senior supervisor will be responsible for all outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations. Using ERP System, prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight. Ensure that drivers depart with appropriate paperwork. This includes executing engineering projects for capital installations $20M+, project management from design through startup, and providing long range technical planning and strategies for the business.
Operations
Provides engineering support to Production to optimize packaging process. Develop packaging automation into reliable and robust production equipment with optimal performance. proactively identify and drive opportunities to improve packaging performance, reduce cost, increase material utilization, improve first time right, integrate new products/processes into production and reduce variation.
Implement necessary changes and update all documentation (including drawings and SOP's) Collect, review and present equipment reliability results and performance data to determine optimal equipment set-up to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Capital Plan
Responsible for capital project execution including equipment selection, justification, CAR processing, purchasing, and installation.
Support start-up efforts including in person training and documentation. Manage projects through design review process from project scope charters through successful startup transition to the local site team.
This includes working with the plant operational teams on providing training, writing appropriate standard operating procedures, and maintenance training plans & parts. Design to incorporate Lean principles to improve reliability, ease of use & maintenance, minimize changeover times, and to minimize production losses.
Safety
Responsible for achieving and maintaining safety goals relative to the maintenance and engineering functions.
Responsible for safety devices, safe design, etc.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical Engineering is preferred.

PLC with ladder logic analysis.
