Main duties & responsibilities:
Lead by example and provide leadership to the machine shop team.
Program, set and operate CNC Mills and Lathes and act as mentor and trainer on their use.

Create work packages using the ERP system and monitor progress through the shop.
Carry out Daily Start Up Meetings and allocate and manage tasks assigned to the team to meet the requirements of the Plan.
Monitor and report on the situation relating to the performance of the team.
Measure and record appropriate metrics to support relevant KPIs.
Use these KPIs to determine appropriate actions to improve the performance of the team.
