What to expect:
Job Duties: Summary: Co-op/Intern students are treated as coatings chemists in training, with a focus on professional growth and skills development in a teamwork-based environment.
Students work on and learn about a variety of product types from metal to concrete coatings and decorative to high performance systems.
Interaction with chemical suppliers, marketing brand managers, and manufacturing operations is incorporated with increasingly complex projects throughout the co-op career.
They will train cross functionally under the different product platforms.
Typical work assignments include Creating sample batches of paint for formula development, conducting performance testing on lab samples and competitive products, documenting data and interpreting/reporting results and assisting with production support through the scale-up process and batch adjustments.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Plasterer is responsible for applying base and finished grade coatings to EIFS Federlite panels and pre-base coated shapes for use on job sites.

This individual will report directly to the Production Supervisor and work based off planned production targets.

We are seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning & Applied AI Co-Op Student to join our Automation & Emerging Technology team.
This role is ideal for students who want hands-on ownership of real-world machine learning experiments in a fast-moving, startup-like environment within a large enterprise.
The co-op will focus on applied machine learning, data-driven experimentation, and model evaluation, with opportunities to explore Generative AI and large language models where they meaningfully support ML-driven use cases.
Rather than production maintenance or traditional automation work, this role emphasizes problem framing, experimentation, and measurable impact.
This position follows a hybrid work model, with a minimum of three (3) days per week on-site at our Vernon Hills, IL office.

The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III).
