About the team
This team works as a multidisciplinary environment to provide appropriate support to those with Mental Health concerns and their carers.
Undertaking complex assessments, Section 117 reviews and completing safeguarding processes under the Care Act 2014 are some of the key responsibilities for this position.
The team is highly driven to work with each service user as an individual and to tailor their care plans as necessary.
About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years experience is essential in order to be considered for this role.
Experience with line management in a mental health setting (whether that be community based or inpatient) are all experiences that lends well to this role.

About the team
You will be working for an ‘Outstanding' rated Independent Fostering Agency with an established therapeutic led approach.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the child's care and development needs are met by undertaking necessary placement management, planning and intervention, and includes completing parenting assessments for parent and child placements as well as supporting foster carers in understanding the developmental trauma needs of children and guiding them in how to care for children who present challenging behaviors.
About the role
You will need to have a Social Work degree and previous experience within Fostering or Adoption would be highly desirable.
A background in Child Protection, Children in Need, Looked After Children, or Leaving Care would also be considered.
You must be willing to participate in the out of hours service on occasion.
