Pay starting from £14 per hour PAYE and £15 per hour Umbrella

About you:
A successful candidate will have experience using British Sign Language (BSL) to communicate effectively with individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing.

Key Responsibilities
Successfully lead the registration process with Ofsted

This is a pivotal role, reporting into the Senior Marine Environmental scientist, you will be analysing multi‑parameters datasets including photographic data, macrofauna data and physico‑chemical data and producing high quality technical reports.
The Marine Environmental team specialises in environmental site characterisation and environmental monitoring.
The data we collect enables our clients and regulatory organisations to fully understand the effects of developments and activities in the coastal and marine environment.
Your key responsibilities will include ensuring work is of the highest standard and quality ensuring the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution in accordance with company procedures.
You will be involved in the preparation of environmental technical reports, utilising relevant statistical analysis of data and mapping software, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
You will ensure all activities are carried out to company specific standards and are in line with our QHSSE policies.
Who we're looking for
Essential
BSc in Marine Science or Environmental Science, or equivalent;
Minimum of 1 year relevant practical experience;
Experience of marine macrofauna identification and/or physical and chemical analysis;
Experience of scientific/technical report writing;
Experience of statistical analysis;
Good Microsoft Office capabilities;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Proven ability to work to deadlines.
