Reporting to the Head of Private Client, the successful applicant will be part of a well-established team in Colne, focusing within the area of Wills & Probate. You will interact with clients, managing your own caseload and have the ability to demonstrate specific experience across the Private Client area.
The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified Solicitor / Legal Executive or experienced Paralegal and applications are welcome from all levels of PQE with strong experience across private client law.

The Family Paralegal will focus heavily across Legal Aid / Care Proceedings will ideally have at least 6 months experience in this area alongside legal aid portal experience to be able to hit the ground running. You will support a busy team of Solicitors / Fee Earners with their busy caseload and will gain great exposure to add to your skillset.
The salary on offer for this opportunity is negotiable depending on experience with training and progression opportunities available.

Conveyancing Assistant | Coventry
Clayton Legal are currently working with a well-established law firm based in Coventry where an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy Conveyancing team.
Duties Include:
- Supporting on a caseload from inception to completion dealing with sale and purchases files
- Drafting and sending part exchange paperwork, pre-contract enquires and other relevant legal documentation
- Preparing reports
- Conducting title searches
- Opening files
- Taking initial instruction
Skills/Experience Required Include:
- Background in residential conveyancing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a calm, professional approach
- Good keyboard ability including audio typing
- Experience of using search providers e.g HMRC Portal, Land Registry etc
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and prioritise work
The successful candidate will ideally have at least 1 years' previous experience within Residential Property, have excellent client care skills, a great attention to detail and is wanting to establish themselves for the long-term in a respected legal practice.
