We are looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join the First Response Team.
THIS POST REQUIRES A SOCIAL WORK QUALIFICATION OF A MINIMUM 2 YEAR POST EXPERIENCE.
About the team
The first response team is a fast paced team dealing with individuals that may have a range of complex needs.
Within this team you will be screening referrals, working with other agencies across the service and carrying out face to face assessments.
This team prides itself on effective team work.
When being the first point of contact, the team ensures that there is a structured system in place to enable a smooth process.
About you
A Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) within a minimum of 1 year post ASYE experience is required.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Section 42.
Experience of working in a fast pace team, hospital discharge, or community will be transerable into this team.

About the team
You will work on a range of different referrals making informed decisions as to which service a child would need to be referred to.
You will take calls from incoming referrals and make judgements that ensure the correct outcome for the children and their families are achieved.
You will do this by using your experience within Frontline Teams to make correct judgements as to what a child may need.
About you
Knowledge and experience working within a Frontline Team such as Child protection and Referral and assessment is essential for this role.
