TIG Welder
Based in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey
Up to £17 per hour, 40 hour week (£35,360 annual) plus benefits and overtime when available
A leading designer and manufacturer of specialist safety equipment is actively seeking experienced TIG Welder to join their expanding in-house Manufacturing Team.
Their site in Sunbury is easily reached by both road (2 minutes from the M3) and public transport (few minutes walk from Kempton Park train station) where they have in-house design, fabrication and testing facilities.
This is an exciting time to be joining them as they are continuing to expand their core product ranges, integrating technological developments, and the development of bespoke solutions to meet specific customer needs means that your work will be interesting and varied.
As a Fabrication Engineer you will be welding light to medium gauges of stainless steel (up to 1mm - 5mm) to produce panels and enclosures to required standards.
You will need to be able to read engineering drawings.
In return they are willing to pay an attractive hourly rate (please state your requirement upon application) and the following:
40 hour week
20 days holiday + bank holidays (1 day added per year of service up to 5 year where extra 2 days awarded for total of 27 days plus bank holiday)

Quality Assurance Technician
Based: Stoke-on-Trent
We are an international leader in the manufacture and distribution of small domestic products and appliances.
Due to ambitious expansion and development plans, we are actively looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Technician to join our in-house QA Team.
Based at their site in Stoke-on-Trent, as a member of the Quality Assurance Team, you will be testing products, assessing function, performance and build quality within a Laboratory environment to ensure that the products are fit for market and meet the required standard for the brand.
This will involve; samples for assessment to include first samples, pre-shipment samples and stock samples tested and assessed following departmental procedures.
You will also be assessing returned products and establishing the reason for failure and will become familiar with UK & EU standards and legislation.
As a result, you will contribute towards the development of successful products by aiding the designers and engineers in the development stage through test reports, design input and root cause analysis of issues identified.
Ideally applicants will have previous experience of working in a test facility (either in-house or an external test house) or have hands-on experience of completing the QA testing procedure.
Ideally, candidates should have:
Hands on mechanical and/or electrical skills
Excellent attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Organised and structured with a drive for a clean, orderly, tidy and safe working environment.
Computer literate with good abilities with MS Excel & Word.
Enthusiastic with a ‘can do' outlook.
An ability to get things done.
Completes and finishes work with no loose ends.
The ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
Able to work as part of a team or own initiative as required, and work with minimal supervision
Preferred but not essential:
Good understanding of Quality systems (e.g.
ISO 9001)
Good understanding of relevant UK, European and International regulations standards, codes of practice and procedures (e.g.
UKCA, CE, CCC, LVD, IP ratings, etc.)
Good experience of working in a technical test facility.
Minimum 1 years' industry related experience in testing of products with mechanical, electrical, electronic & software elements.
Good experience of following detailed test requirements and protocols.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and make confident decisions.

Each project will involve customisation and modifications to existing products and systems to meet specific customer application.
Applicants should have proven project management skills and customer-facing experiences as you will be managing relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
You should also have a strong commercial sense and attention to detail, with the ability to problem-solve and ensure stage gates of projects are met on time and within budget.
Previous experience of developing products used in hazardous environments (i.e.

A leading air treatment specialist equipment and systems solutions provider is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for a new manufacturing site in Sunderland.
As Site Supervisor you will ensure engineering support is effective and efficient throughout the project delivery phase.
This will include responsibility for making sure projects stay on schedule, within budgets, and that invoices are raised.
This role is being offered on an initial 12 month FTC with an attractive salary and benefits (although we can consider someone as an off-payroll contractor).
Key Activities and Accountabilities
To expedite prompt delivery of project activities
To maintain communication with customers, colleagues and other contractors, and keep them informed of project timescales
Check overall safety on site and that the site teams are working safely in compliance with latest RAMS.
Manage and maintain contractors work permits on a daily basis.
Make sure individuals / teams have safe work equipment and correct (general and specific if applicable) PPE for the duration of the task.
Ensure that quality site records are dully filled in compliance with site procedures.
To manage sub-contractors including Health and safety and CDM where required
Conduct activities in accordance with company health and safety policies
Work with the line Manager to plan and prioritise workload.
Liaise with primary site contractor and participate in daily meetings where required.
Carryout onsite toolbox talks.
Ensure work is in accordance with ISO 9001 and work instructions are in accordance with ISO 9001
Help manage approved suppliers and contractors
Maintaining good customer relationships
