Job Title: Commis Chef

Salary: around 1,800€ per month + accommodation + tips + meals + bonus + travel

Location: Tilos, Greece

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our culinary team at our prestigious luxury hotel nestled on the beautiful island of Tilos, Greece.

As a Commis Chef, you will work alongside experienced chefs to create exquisite culinary creations and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our discerning guests.

Tasks:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and standards.
• Support senior chefs in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials, showcasing creativity and innovation.
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies as needed.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Commis Chef or kitchen assistant.
• Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic culinary environment.
• Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eligibility to work in Greece.
