Day Technician - HVAC

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Day Technician (HVAC) to join a dynamic team at a state-of-the-art datacentre facility.

The Datacentre HVAC Engineer will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC systems within the datacentre facility.

As a Day Technician you will play a crucial role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of critical HVAC systems.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer HVAC systems for datacentre facilities, ensuring efficient cooling and environmental control to support optimal equipment performance


• Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate existing HVAC infrastructure and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance performance and energy efficiency


• Collaborate with other teams to coordinate PPM


• Assist with the installation, commissioning and testing of HVAC equipment


• Maintain accurate records of HVAC maintenance activities, equipment specifications and performance metrics


• React quickly to equipment failures/shutdowns

Qualifications:

• Experience in HVAC design, installation or maintenance, with specific experience in datacentre or critical facility environments preferred


• Strong knowledge of HVAC principles


• Strong technical background in electrical systems, HVAC, cooling systems, and facility infrastructure.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
