MET Technician

Location: Southall, West London

Salary: £45k - £65k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

Full-Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday (45 Hours)

The Client:

Our client is a well-established car Bodyshop, renowned for their exceptional service and quality workmanship in vehicle repairs.

The Role:

Aa a MET Technician, your role involves carefully dismantling and reassembling damaged vehicles to meet exceptional repair standards.

Training will be provided to the relevant candidates, if required.

Responsibilities:



* Precisely strip and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components.


* Work across a diverse spectrum of vehicles, including cars, vans, HGVs, and luxury models.


* Identify and report any additional damage or necessary supplementary work.


* Maintain close communication with the Parts Department.


* Document the repair process through photographs and reports.


* Conduct road tests as needed, adhering to BS10125 standards.


Requirements:



* Previously worked as a MET Technician or in a similar role.


* Experience working in the motor industry.


* Capable of completing tasks according to a job card within the allocated timeframe.


* Proficiency in English both written and verbal.


* Proven ability to manage a high volume of work in a dynamic environment.


* At least 3 years of Bodyshop experience would be preferred.


* Relevant qualifications (ATA / IMI / NVQ / VCQ) would be beneficial.


* Residency within 20 miles of the job location.
