We are currently looking for an Experienced Children's Social Worker within Cared for Children Team

About the team

You'll be working within a Cared for Children Team who deal with complex cases, including assessment and appropriate management of risk.

The team is very supportive and is made up of a variety of roles such as trainees, support staff and volunteers.

Everyone in the team works hard to develop and maintain effective relationships with the service users, their carers and families.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years' experience working within a Cared for Children Team is essential for this role.

You will likely supervise other social workers in the team who are less experienced and so you will need supervisory skills, along with detailed knowledge of relevant legislation and its application.

You will have good planning, analytical and communication skills.
