Employment Solicitor

This is an unmissable role for an Employment Solicitor to join an award-winning, nationally regarded firm as part of a close-knit busy team in Leeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your existing Employment Law experience and apply it to clients operating in the fascinating and everchanging sectors of charities and education.

Our client, a well-known, long-established law firm, has an opening for an experienced and talented Employment Solicitor to join the team in Leeds.

The firm is highly-regarded across the UK and has received recognition from bodies such as the Legal 500 and Chambers for providing an excellent service.

The team's first-rate reputation lends itself to high-quality work and an impressive client base across Charities and Education.

Joining this successful team, you will have access to this client base and will be acting on behalf of charities, universities, social enterprises and more; and will be both assisting senior team members with matters as well as handling your own caseload.

The work is equally as diverse and high-calibre, with files sometimes reaching over £100million in value.

Both contentious and non-contentious matters, including employment contracts, policies and handbooks, settlement agreements, restructuring, redundancies, discriminations, TUPE and Tribunal work could all feature in your caseload.

Existing sectoral experience would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite, you must however be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in these areas and the opportunity to progress you career acting for clients within them.

The successful candidate should be between NQ level and 3 years' PQE in Employment Law, however, this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this level but who have prior experience in HR law, litigation or similar roles.
