The Head Sommelier Role:

Our client needs a Head Sommelier who has a real passion for delivering the highest levels of wine service and creating a fantastic dining experience for your guests.

This is a high-volume restaurant and bar concept with a seriously buzzing atmosphere! You’ll be leading a team of 5 driven Sommeliers and deliver a 5

* service to a wide range of guests.

The wine list is diverse and exciting with a strong mix of Old world and New world wines.

The ideal Head Sommelier will:

• Possess a professional, welcoming, and warm personality
• Ideally hold a WSET level 4 qualification with a passion for training
• You will come from either a fine dining or very premium Restaurant or Hotel
• Identify ways to improve sales, control cost with strong supplier negotiation skills
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and concisely
• Understand the guest; who they are, their expectations and how to effectively manage their part of the overall service experience to ensure repeat custom

Salary:                 £50,000 - £60,000
