Electronics Systems Engineer - Ledbury

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to demonstrate systems engineering best practice and be responsible for capturing, maintaining and communicating requirements and functional diagrams across the team.

You will:

• Work with Test to ensure appropriate level of test coverage during stage gates and releases.


• Ensure traceability between tests and requirements.


• Perform impact analysis of change requests.


• Work with wider team to produce and maintain functional diagrams which capture the design implementation which meets the requirements.


• Work with software to ensure that software tickets match latest functional diagrams and vice-versa.


• Document the system architecture


• Demonstrate ability to use appropriate data analysis tools, including some coding competency.


• Produce supporting documentation such as manuals and processes as required


• Follow industry best practice for Agile development activities.


• Deliver work on time and in full.


• Engage with the ECR process as required to ensure smooth implementation of new NPD outputs and ensure that NPD activity and sustaining activity are joined up.

You will be degree qualified in a relevant Engineering subject and have specialist applied knowledge of Requirements capture, Functional Trees, DFMEA and /or DfX within a science, energy related or technology sector.

Any Six Sigma, Agile or JIRA/Sharepoint experience would also be desirable.
