The Head Sommelier Role:

I’m looking for a Head Sommelier who has a real passion for delivering the highest levels of wine service and creating a fantastic dining experience for your guests.

This is a great opportunity as you’ll have the freedom to build your own wine list from small and interesting suppliers and provide exquisite pairings in a premium setting.

Engaging with customers is essential for this role therefore enjoyment in delivering the highest levels of service is essential.

The ideal Head Sommelier will:

• Have previous experience in a Sommelier position, preferably within a premium environment
• Possess WSET level 3 minimum or equivalent Sommelier qualifications
• Understand the customer; who they are, their expectations and how to effectively manage their part of the overall service experience to ensure repeat custom
• Be able to work effectively individually and lead a team of Sommeliers
• Identify ways to improve sales and control cost
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and concisely
