Account Receivable Specialist

Location: Berlin

Salary: €42,000-50,000

We're seeking an Account Receivable Specialist to join our client's AR team in Berlin.

If you meet the following criteria, we want to hear from you:

Minimum two years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Excel, including pivots and VLOOKUPs
Experience with SAP is a plus
Fluency in English is mandatory; German proficiency is advantageous
Availability for full-time, on-site work in Berlin
Possession of a valid visa (not a job seeker/student visa)
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

What you will do:

Performing billing and collections for the company's Germany locations
Assisting and supporting the finance team and other departments with member interfaces
Reviewing invoices and payments on accounts, resolving discrepancies with good judgment
Supporting members with various financial requests
Monitoring DSO and improving collection and billing processes
Participating in monthly book closing processes and revenue recognition
Analyzing revenues, existing metrics, and KPIs

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics preferred
Minimum six years of experience in accounts receivables or accounting, with at least two years in a fast-paced environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
Expertise in Excel and MS Office
Strong customer service skills
Experience with SAP B1 and Salesforce is advantageous
