Family Hub Coach

Service Care Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to join Staffordshire County Council as a Family Hub Coach.

As a Family Hub Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting families and communities to thrive.

You will work closely with children, young people, and their families to secure improved outcomes and reduce the need for specialist service interventions.

Your responsibilities will include engaging with families, promoting healthy lifestyles, and fostering positive relationships within communities.

Pay: £16.70 per hour
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 37 hours per week
Location: Staffordshire Moorlands Childrens Centre, ST8 6DT

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively engage children, young people, and their parents/carers to ensure appropriate access to early and statutory education.


• Conduct direct work, including emergency interventions, with children, young people, and families in accordance with identified outcomes.


• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other locality providers.


• Promote healthy lifestyles, positive relationships, and safe parenting within families and communities.


• Persistently and assertively assess, provide, or co-ordinate targeted support for families and other agencies.


• Signpost and support children and young people to engage with appropriate agencies and activities to enhance life chances and outcomes.


• Deliver evidence-based group work to support families and communities.

About You:

• Minimum standard of NVQ 3 in respect of working with children and their families or equivalent qualification or experience.


• Driving Licence & access to own vehicle with a willingness to travel to different hubs within Staffordshire


• Solid experience working directly with children, their families,


• or carers in a relevant setting.


• An understanding of how to appropriately signpost or


• intervene with those families with identified unmet needs


• including SEND.
