Draftsman

A Detailer/Draughtsman is required in an established Structural and Architectural Steel company based in Sittingbourne.



Role Overview: The position offers two potential pathways:

• Detailer / Draughtsman: Focusing on creating detailed drawings and designs using advanced steel software.


• Detailer with Project Management: Combining detailing with project management responsibilities.
  
  This role involves overseeing projects from drafting through to workshop production, installation, and final account negotiation.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings using advanced steel software.


• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs meet specifications.


• For dual role candidates: manage projects, coordinate with workshop and installation teams, and handle client negotiations.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in advanced steel software.


• Strong attention to detail and technical drawing skills.


• Project management experience (for dual role candidates) is an advantage.


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Salary: up to £50K with overtime.
