Graduate or Trainee Quantity Surveyor

A Graduate or Trainee Quantity Surveyor is required in an established Construction company based in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a portfolio of 4-5 projects ranging in value from £3M to £25M.


• Conduct thorough reviews of contracts to ensure compliance and identify potential risks.


• Prepare and submit payment applications accurately and on time.


• Appoint and manage sub-contractors effectively, ensuring quality and adherence to project timelines.


• Address and resolve any disputes that arise during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (QS) or equivalent (for graduates) / GCSE (for trainees)


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• High attention to detail and accuracy


• Proficient in using relevant software and tools for quantity surveying

Other Details and Package:

• Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM


• Salary: £21,000 per annum (for trainees) / £29,000 per annum (for graduates) plus bonus (£10k to £15k) plus car allowance


• Location: Grantham in Lincolnshire or Byley in Cheshire
