Banquet Head Chef

Location: Kohler, WI

Salary: $85,000 - $105,000

Our client, a luxury resort hotel, is seeking a Head Banquet Chef.

This role requires overseeing high-end banquet operations, ensuring exceptional culinary standards, and creating memorable dining experiences for guests in a prestigious and historic setting

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the banquet culinary team
• Create and update banquet menus, including specials
• Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met consistently
• Train staff on culinary standards, recipes, and cooking procedures
• Manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen budget
• Collaborate with event planners to customize menus
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Coordinate large-scale events, ensuring high guest satisfaction

Ideal Banquet Chef:

• Must have 5+ years of management experience
• Experience in a 5 Star luxurious hotel
• Proven knowledge of budgeting, food costs, labor and scheduling
• A sincere willingness to provide service
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
