Work Pattern: Monday - Friday | 08:30 - 17:00pm

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Advisor II to join our client's Customer and Business Delivery team.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that local residents have seamless access to essential services while delivering top-notch customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt and timely responses to customer enquiries across multiple services, often serving as the first point of contact.


• Handle enquiries through various channels, including dealing with confrontational customers and contentious issues.


• Verify and upload customer documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with defined standards.


• Escalate specialised issues to relevant officers or teams following established handover procedures.


• Promote and assist in the use of digital services, supporting our digital strategy.


• Process payments securely in person and over the telephone.


• Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, resolutions, and customer information.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ability to travel using public or private transport.


• Experience in a customer service role, ideally within a public sector environment.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.


• Familiarity with GDPR regulations and data protection laws.


• Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
