New Business Manager, Established Scottish Wholesaler, Up to 80k

I am working with an established Scottish wholesaler with a rich heritage in delivering high-quality products across various sectors.

They take pride in their diverse portfolio, offering a wide range of beverages, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

As they continue to grow and expand their market presence, They are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Manager to lead their sales efforts within the grocery channel.

This role will focus on Drink sales across the Grocery channel and will be a home based role.

New Business Manager responsibilities include:


  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in the grocery channel, focusing on our drinks portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key grocery accounts, ensuring exceptional service and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the grocery sector, expanding our reach and maximizing market penetration.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and product development, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences, adapting strategies as needed.

The Ideal New Business Manager:


  • Strong track record of successfully selling beverages into grocery accounts, with an understanding of the Scottish market.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Existing relationships with key grocery retailers in Scotland is a significant advantage.
