Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter - Surrey - £45,000

My client is an industry leader within the Heavy Plant industry, covering a number of contracts throughout the South East.

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Surrey area for an experienced Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct repairs, servicing, and maintenance of heavy plant machinery, including excavators, loaders, and dozers.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and implement appropriate solutions.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates at peak performance.
Collaborate with the workshop team to troubleshoot issues and optimize equipment functionality.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and services performed, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a safe working environment.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and apprentices.
Assist in the management of parts inventory and ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.

What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter is essential.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Relevant qualifications in heavy plant maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving license preferred.
You must have a history within the Heavy Plant engineering industry to apply for this position.
