My client is an industry leader within the plant industry, covering a number of contracts throughout Dorset.

An excellent opportunity has arisen in the Dorset area for an experienced Workshop & Mobile Plant Fitter.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and servicing of heavy plant machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct repairs and fault-finding on various equipment, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
Carry out pre-delivery inspections and quality checks on new machinery before it reaches customers.
Execute modifications and upgrades to existing machinery based on customer requests.
Visit customer sites for service and repairs, providing excellent customer service and maintaining client relationships.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports and parts used.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Keep the workshop and mobile service vehicle organized and well-stocked with necessary tools and parts.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy plant technology.

Requirements:
Relevant experience in heavy plant maintenance and repairs.
Strong fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A valid driver's license is preferred.
