Procurement Manager – Athens

About Us:

We are working with a top architecture and interior design firm specialised in Hospitality works.

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join their team in Athens.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for various projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services.
• Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify and select reliable vendors within the construction and architecture industries.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, considering factors such as quality, price, delivery terms, and sustainability.
• Manage procurement processes from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
• Monitor supplier performance, evaluate their capabilities, and address any issues or concerns.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and sustainable sourcing.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within the construction or architecture industry.
• Previously worked with Hospitality project is a must.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry standards.
• Excellent organisation, planning, follow-up skills.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Fluency in English is essential.

Must be able to work and travel in the EU.
