Assistant General Manager

Salary: $75,000-$75,000 USD plus Benefits, PTO & Relocation Assistance!

Thomas, US Virgin Islands

The Company:

A well known, all-inclusive private island resort that brings together the unparalleled beauty of the BVI with an authentic, transformative experience for its guests.

The property has been designed as a bespoke island resort.

Responsibilities:

• Support the oversight of operational teams
• Liaise with teams to ensure that all aspects of the guests’ stay are well produced and coordinated, and spend optimum time with the guests as a hands-on manager to ensure that all requests and feedback are integrated into the company’s unique experience
• Be a key point of contact for Ownership to onboard feedback, direction, and requests
• Work closely with the front of house teams to conduct training, improve standard operating procedures
• Ensure that the entire guest experience, including the presentation of guest areas are kept to the highest standards

Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years’ experience of front of house experience
• Background in private yachts/luxury properties a plus
• Extroverted, fun and highly motivated team players with a high degree of attention to detail
• Multitasker & extremely personable with a great attitude
• Forward-thinker with an innovative approach to problem-solving
• Organized and able to plan and manage complex logistical challenges
