Position Overview:
They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented FP&A Manager to join their finance team.
The FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in providing strategic financial insight and supporting key decision-making processes.
This role is responsible for overseeing financial planning and analysis, managing budgeting processes, and driving financial performance through data-driven recommendations.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the FP&A Manager will be a key partner to senior leadership and department heads to ensure the company’s financial goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and analysis of the company’s annual budget and periodic forecasts, working closely with key stakeholders across departments.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions, ensuring alignment with company strategies and objectives.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide financial support and insights for business cases, investment decisions, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with business units to develop and implement financial strategies that drive growth and operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective management of working capital, cash flow, and profitability.
- Support the Finance Director with ad-hoc analysis and strategic financial projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, complying with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience:
- A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in FP&A or related finance roles, preferably in the wellness, leisure, or hospitality sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, experience with Power BI and other financial reporting tools.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Experience with managing a small team and developing junior staff.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
