The Role

• Oversee wine selections, create an exceptional wine list, and maintain inventory to align with the restaurant’s vision and standards.
• Educate staff on wine pairings, service techniques, and enhance their knowledge to elevate the guest experience.
• Provide expert recommendations and ensure an exceptional wine experience for all guests.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage the wine program's financial performance effectively.

What they are looking for:

• Must have front-of-house management experience in a 2- or 3-star Michelin restaurant, with exceptional guest service and staff leadership skills.
• Deep knowledge of food and wine, including pairing and service, with the ability to enhance the guest dining experience.
• Strong multitasking abilities, proficiency in cost management, and experience with Microsoft Excel and Word for operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of wine-related languages, and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and guests.
