An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller with 5 years PQE to join a prominent wood processing company.

As a Financial Controller, you will support the Head of the company, overseeing financial reporting, management accounts, remuneration, tax, and statutory accounts.

You will be responsible for:

* Lead the finance team, reporting to the Group Head of Finance and Head of Business.


* Support strategic decisions, including insurance and capital investments.


* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to Managing Directors.


* Manage accounting, tax, statutory reporting, and cash flow.


* Ensure effective financial controls, systems, and technology.


* Oversee payroll in collaboration with Group HR.


What we are looking for:

* Previously worked as a Financial Accountant, Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Financial Manager or in a similar role.


* Minimum 5 years PQE, ideally across several disciplines.


* ACA, ACCA & CIMA qualified.


* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a finance team.


* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


* Ideally have experience working in ERP environment.
