Teach Plus are currently working with a ‘Good' 2-form school in Edgware; they are looking for a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join the team from September.


The primary school are committed to making sure that school is a safe place that allows everyone to thrive both academically and socially.


The primary school are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to join and excel the students learning as they prepare for KS2.



As a Year 1 Class Teacher you will be required to:



  • Take on full KS2 Class Teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessments

  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum

  • Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression

  • Provide a calm, constructive working environment to enable the pupils to carry out the planned work



The ideal candidate for a Year 1 Class Teacher will have:



  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum

  • Recent KS1 (Year 1 Class Teacher or similar) experience, either within student placements or responsible for your own class

  • A strong work ethic who is willing to commit until the end of the academic year

  • UK recognised Teaching Qualification with QTS
