THE ROLE:
Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, the Assistant Warehouse Manager will be one of the senior managers within a complex & fast-paced Warehouse & Logistics operation in the Brighouse area.
Specific responsibilities will be across Warehouse functions such as Good In, Pick/Pack, Despatch, Stock/Inventory & Health & Safety.
Responsibility for circa 8-15 people (Warehouse Team Leaders, Warehouse Operatives, also having interaction with Transport Operatives & Drivers).
Utilisation of KPI's & Processes in order to manage performance.
Managing the relationship for a specific client in a pro-active & collaborative "Value-Add" way.
Regular and consistent communication with the client.
Able to understand client needs and respond to them pro-actively and positively.
Recruitment, on-boarding and people retention within a Logistics setting.
Utilising data to inform decisions and also provide regular reports to Senior Management.
THE PERSON:
Assistant Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Shift Manager or Warehouse Team Leader ideally within fast paced distribution (Day 1 for Day 1 OR Day 1 for Day 2).
3PL experience is beneficial.
Overall management responsibility for at least 10 heads or more.
Strong Commercial acumen.
Able to account manage clients in a pro-active & constructive way.
Front-foot & hands-on leadership style - this role is very much a hands-on & full-on Warehouse Management role.
Able to engage & motivate your people.
Able to liaise from shop-floor to Board level.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the role is responsible for both proactive and re-active maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment and infrastructure in a demanding production environment delivering high plant up time.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the production operations.
Key Duties of the Maintenance Engineer:
- You will be self-directing and manage own time and resources, to deliver departmental and factory requirements in accordance with business priorities.
- Responsible for the maintenance / fault finding and repair of a range of production equipment, specifically plastic injection moulding machines, ancillaries, plant, and general factory infrastructure.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Time-served multi-skilled Maintenance Technician/Engineer with electrical & mechanical maintenance knowledge.
- Will hold a engineering qualification, ideally along with a formal practical electrical qualification e.g.
17th Edition.
- Competent in electrical circuits - single phase, 3 phase (to 415V), as well as 12/24V DCss.
- A strong manufacturing background is essential, with a proven experience in faultfinding and repair of machinery such as Moulding Machines, CNC machining centres, Conveyors & Robotics.
- Experience of plastics processing machinery is not essential, but would be advantageous.
- Good level of numeracy and literacy.
- Competent in use of office IT systems including MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access Databases.
Desirable:
- Experience of PLC faultfinding / interrogation.
- Manufacturing robotics knowledge programming, fault finding, implementation of new systems using robotics and fully automated manufacturing systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish sales strategy and supporting business plan that is focused on growth and profitability for assigned Region.
Develop a business plan that includes goals, objectives and strategies that ensure attainment of sales goals and margins to meet profit goals. Conduct one-on-one reviews with sales representatives to gain an understanding of what training and development needs may exist and to provide feedback and coaching to each individual as to how to improve their sales activity and performance. Continually focus on ways to support sales reps with meeting their Compensation objectives (Comp 2.0, 3.0, etc.) throughout the region and ensure reps are utilizing Smart Sheet to track their activities, proposals, etc.

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE
3+ years successful outside sales experience, preferably industrial sales.
5+ years experience in field sales management.
Ability to lead, manage and develop local field sales representatives through coaching and mentoring.
Management experience should include recruiting, interviewing, training and developing a productive sales team.
Financial management (to include analyzing market data and developing sales plans), and organizational skills required.
Thorough understanding and experience building long-term customer relationships, prospecting, account development, problem solving and ability to deliver service, solutions, and project a can-do attitude.
